Meet Dr. Ugochi Irikannu, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, DrPH

My work in mental health care is shaped by both personal experience and decades of professional leadership. Like many families, mine has been touched by mental health and addiction challenges. Those experiences deepened my understanding of how profoundly these conditions affect individuals, families, and the ability to live fully. They also strengthened my commitment to providing care that is compassionate, personalized, and respectful of each person’s journey.

I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all. Everyone deserves access to thoughtful, high-quality mental health care that honors their goals, values, and lived e,familiesxperience.

I spent nearly two decades in healthcare leadership with Chevron, working with diverse populations including executives and their family. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for discretion, complexity, and the realities faced by individuals balancing high levels of responsibility with personal well-being.

Witnessing the transformative impact of mental health treatment—both personally and professionally—continues to guide my work. Today, I am dedicated to providing concierge psychiatric care that is tailored, compassionate, and grounded in trust, allowing clients and their families to focus on recovery, clarity, and sustainable well-being within the comfort and privacy of their home.

My clinical and academic training includes a Doctorate of Public Health with a focus on Global Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center, a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Woman’s University, and completion of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Wilkes University. I am also certified in Deep TMS therapy and trained as a Human Performance Improvement Practitioner.
